Big sound and sleek style for a great price

Unusual for this price class but typical for Teufel: A 2-way system consisting of a strong, high-performance tweeter and midrange driver with balanced tuning. The signals are divided in such a way as to give each driver the optimal frequency range. This means higher levels, more details, and more sound.

Extremely high-excursion drivers compensate for the relatively flat enclosures ensuring a full, powerful sound. The standing columns are equipped with crossovers that differ from those in the wall-mounted satellites and centre – a little detail that allows all of the speakers in the set to produce an identical tone for realistic and immersive surround sound.

Two strong midbass drivers deliver especially good speech intelligibility and a full sound with instruments and vocals. Two drivers also mean a higher maximum volume. This makes it possible to experience dynamic film sound with a realistic soundstage even during intense action scenes.

Whether you put the satellites in the front and the columns in the back or vice versa, the set will sound equally good. In addition, the dreaded “suck out” – or frequency gaps that cause certain parts of film audio and music to drop in intensity – will not occur when audio signals are played from front to back. This results in an all-encompassing sound independent of setup.

Integrated key hole brackets allow the satellites and centre to be easily wall mounted directly to the side or under the display. This not only looks amazing, but takes up very little space. The purchase of additional brackets is not necessary.

A high-contrast finish with a white body and black cover give the set a timeless look that is at home in any interior. Solid, robust wooden enclosures lend the speakers a satisfyingly substantial look and feel. The wood also has resonance damping properties that enhance the overall sound.

Compact rig out
This ultra-compact device works as a controller for each active 5.1 speaker set from Teufel. A subwoofer with an integrated 6-channel amplifier is with 5 speaker output make the Decoder Station 5 Mk 2 a complete multimedia sound system for any type of home entertainment - without AV receiver or amplifier.

Connect it all
The system can support up to eight external devices with a 5.1-speaker set, all you have to do is select between devices without the hassle of swapping cables. Four digital and four analog inputs are available for different applications: computer, laptop, DVD player, games console, TV, DVB-T/S/C, MP3 players, iPod dock, tablets, and media streamers - everything goes.

Surround sound all in one
The Decoder Station 5 Mk2 supports Dolby / DTS for amazing surround sound. The station also enhances conventional stereo signals to give you a surround sound experience that includes all five speakers plus a subwoofer.

Lip sync extrordinaire
The new Lip Sync button adjusts any delay during conversion, so that sound and image are always in sync.

Flexible as you want it
The decoder station can be combined with a variety of 5.1 speaker sets across different formats and offers adjustable crossover frequencies in the range 80 - 250 Hz to give you the best possible sound.

Keep control
A 32-character display keeps you informed about the status of each function. A multi-functional remote control is also included.

The active Subwoofer US 2108/6 SW comes in 24 liter housing and weighs 14 kg is an indispensable part of the set for optimal cinema surround sound in your home.
The compact size means the subwoofer takes up little space. Despite its slim shape the subwoofer still incorporates the powerful and large 200 mm woofer, allowing the US 2108/6 SW to perform to a much higher standard than others in the same price range. Thanks to an amplifier with 100 watts of power, the US 2108/6 SW bass that goes down to an incredible 45-Hz. The internal limiter protects the subwoofer from overload and distortion.
At the back there is a phase switch and sockets for direct connection of the surround speakers. And on the back you can easily connect the Decoder or the Control Station 5 mark 2.
Optically, the US 2108/6 SW is timeless and perfect for any living room. With its sleek and discreet shapes with modern gloss and rounded corners, this subwoofer fits into any living room. The bass reflex port at the bottom and the special notch on the back of the housing ensure seamless positioning against most walls. Four resonators ensure stable positioning and decoupling from the floor.
The US 2108/6 SW is only sold as part of a Teufel set and cannot be ordered separately.

This ultra compact control device serves as a preamp for a 5.1-powered subwoofer. The Decoder Station Mk2 offers four digital (optical and 2x 2 x coaxial) inputs plus four stereo analog inputs (1 x 5.1, 1 x stereo). These are located on the back of the device and are suitable for the connection of many different devices. The integrated decoder for DTS, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic ensures perfect surround sound for many playback devices.

With the extra Lip Sync option you ensure that video and audio are played simultaneously. The Decoder Station is compatible with many different types of speakers in the frequency range of 80-250 Hz. The included remote control gives you access to all the devices that you have connected the decoder Station Mk2.

A slender satellite loudspeaker with a 2-way system and double midrange drivers plus a high-performance tweeter. Excellent speech intelligibility even at low volumes is the result.
