Unusual for this price class but typical for Teufel: A 2-way system consisting of a strong, high-performance tweeter and midrange driver with balanced tuning. The signals are divided in such a way as to give each driver the optimal frequency range. This means higher levels, more details, and more sound. Extremely high-excursion drivers compensate for the relatively flat enclosures ensuring a full, powerful sound. The standing columns are equipped with crossovers that differ from those in the wall-mounted satellites and centre – a little detail that allows all of the speakers in the set to produce an identical tone for realistic and immersive surround sound. Two strong midbass drivers deliver especially good speech intelligibility and a full sound with instruments and vocals. Two drivers also mean a higher maximum volume. This makes it possible to experience dynamic film sound with a realistic soundstage even during intense action scenes. Whether you put the satellites in the front and the columns in the back or vice versa, the set will sound equally good. In addition, the dreaded “suck out” – or frequency gaps that cause certain parts of film audio and music to drop in intensity – will not occur when audio signals are played from front to back. This results in an all-encompassing sound independent of setup. Integrated key hole brackets allow the satellites and centre to be easily wall mounted directly to the side or under the display. This not only looks amazing, but takes up very little space. The purchase of additional brackets is not necessary. A high-contrast finish with a white body and black cover give the set a timeless look that is at home in any interior. Solid, robust wooden enclosures lend the speakers a satisfyingly substantial look and feel. The wood also has resonance damping properties that enhance the overall sound.
The US 2108/1 is a slender but powerful down-firing subwoofer with bass reflex technology. The 200 mm long-throw woofer powered by 100 watts creates more than enough rich and punchy bass to fill small to medium size rooms. With the US 2108/1 SM, enclosure volume, membrane surface area and driver excursion work together to pull a maximum of bass from a relatively compact device.
A slender satellite loudspeaker with a 2-way system and double midrange drivers plus a high-performance tweeter. Excellent speech intelligibility even at low volumes is the result. Integrated wall mounts allow the speaker to be placed flat against a wall. The enclosure is made from MDF wood. The continuous power-handling capacity is 60 watts (IEC - long term). Works with all standard A/V receivers.
With a 24 liter volume and nearly 14 kg, this active subwoofer is perfectly equipped to deliver extra depth and punch to home cinema and music.The slender form takes up very little space, yet accommodates a downward radiating 200 mm woofer - the secret to this subwoofer's performance which is miles above its price class. The low end is 40 Hz (-3 dB). Thanks to an integrated amplifier with 100 watts, the bass has a dynamic and precise sound. An internal limiter protects the drivers from overmodulation and distortion. A mono cinch connection for connecting to a home cinema A/V receiver and phase switch are located on the back.An auto level switch with three levels ensures the optimal alignment to the various output levels from different home cinema A/V receivers. This ensures that the subwoofer always springs into action when a signal is available. The attractive yet discreet form is accented by high gloss elements and rounded corners. The downfire principle, bass reflex vent on the bottom, and angled, embedded power plugs allow the US 2108/1 SW to be positioned directly against the wall. Four resonance damping feet ensure stable placement and uncouple the subwoofer from the floor. The US 2108/1 SW is only available as part of a Teufel set.
